1. Using this website
This website is provided for information and for requesting an estimate. The content, logo, images and layout belong to Dave's Landscaping and Snow and may not be copied or reused without permission. We try to keep the information accurate but do not warrant that it is complete or current at all times.
2. Estimates and quotes
Estimates are free and carry no obligation. A quote is based on the property as seen at the time of the visit and on the scope described. If conditions differ materially — hidden obstacles, a larger area, overgrowth beyond what was visible, buried debris — we will tell you before continuing and agree a revised price. Quotes are valid for 30 days unless stated otherwise.
3. Scheduling and access
Recurring lawn service runs on a route, so your visit falls on roughly the same day each week. You agree to provide safe, unobstructed access to the property and to secure pets during service visits. If the crew cannot access the property on a scheduled visit, the visit may be charged.
Please mark any irrigation heads, invisible fencing, low-voltage cable, septic lids or other buried items before work begins. We are not responsible for damage to items that were not marked or disclosed.
4. Snow removal terms
- Contract properties are serviced when snowfall reaches the agreed trigger depth, which is two inches unless your agreement says otherwise.
- During a prolonged storm we may make more than one pass. Each pass may be billable under per-push pricing.
- Service order follows route sequence and commercial priority, not the order in which calls come in.
- Salt and de-icer reduce, but do not eliminate, the risk of ice. Surfaces can refreeze. You remain responsible for monitoring conditions on your property.
- Vehicles left in a driveway or lot may prevent a full clear. We are not responsible for areas we could not reach.
5. Payment
Invoices are due on the terms shown on the invoice. Recurring services are billed on a regular cycle; project work may require a deposit before materials are ordered. Accounts that fall overdue may be suspended until brought current, and a late fee may apply where permitted by law.
6. Cancellation
Recurring lawn service can be cancelled with reasonable notice; work already performed remains payable. Seasonal snow contracts reserve route capacity for the whole winter and are generally not refundable once the season has begun, except as set out in your agreement. Project work cancelled after materials have been ordered may incur costs already committed.
7. Property condition and damage
Minor turf marking can occur during normal operation, particularly on soft ground or along plow lines in winter, and is repaired at spring clean-up where needed. Report any damage you believe we caused within a reasonable period so we can inspect it while the cause is still clear.
8. Weather and delays
Schedules move with the weather. Rain, frozen ground, equipment failure and storm volume can all push a visit. We are not liable for losses caused by a delay outside our reasonable control.
9. Liability
We carry liability insurance and a certificate is available on request. To the extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim relating to the services is limited to the amount paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
10. Photographs
We may photograph completed work for our own portfolio and website. Photographs will not include house numbers or anything identifying the address. Tell us if you would rather we did not photograph your property and we will note it on your account.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, and any dispute will be handled in the courts serving Macomb County, Michigan.
